What’s new at The Grape Exchange?
ANSWER
We’re excited to announce that you can now shop for wine and spirits directly on our website! Shop anytime, anywhere. Rest assured, your credit card information is securely stored on an encrypted third-party server. Once you create an account, you can easily update your contact and payment information.
When can I pick up my order?
ANSWER
Orders are typically ready for pickup 2-3 business days after they’re placed, though often sooner. You’ll receive a notification when your order is ready. If you need to pick it up sooner or haven’t received your notice, please email us at shipping@thegrapeexchange.shop.
Our store is open:
- Monday–Saturday: 9:30 AM – 8 PM
- Sunday: 12 PM – 6 PM
Tip: We recommend calling or emailing before coming in to ensure your order is ready.
When will you ship my order?
ANSWER
Shipping schedules depend on the day of your order:
- Orders placed Monday–Thursday typically ship the following Monday.
- Orders placed Friday–Sunday may ship up to 10 days later.
We understand this timeline can seem complicated, but certain industry regulations make shipping more challenging. Rest assured, we do our best to serve you while staying compliant with all legal requirements.
Why am I paying sales tax on my order?
ANSWER
Following the U.S. Supreme Court decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair (2018), businesses are now required to collect and remit sales tax on transactions, even without a physical presence in the state. This applies to all purchases made with The Grape Exchange.
When is it too cold or too warm to ship?
ANSWER
Our insulated shipping boxes provide excellent protection, but we won’t ship if temperatures fall below 20°F or rise above 85°F.
- Summer Heat Hold: We’ll store your order free of charge until temperatures are safe.
General Storage: Orders can be held free of charge for up to 60 days, whether for shipping or in-store pickup.
Does The Grape Exchange offer case discounts?
ANSWER
Yes! We offer the following discounts on non-sale wines, including champagne:
- 10% off for 6–11 bottles (750ml)
- 15% off for 12+ bottles (750ml)
Discounts will automatically apply at checkout.
NOTE: There are no discounts on Spirits.
How can I update my address, email, or credit card information?
ANSWER
Simply log into your account at the top right corner of our website. From there, you can update your billing and delivery addresses, email, and credit card information.
