Loren Crossing is inspired by a regular Sunday bicycle route through Napa Valley. This scenic path winds through some of the most beautiful vineyards and natural landscapes in the region. Among the valley flora and fauna is the California Bay Laurel, a native tree with rich culinary and medicinal uses. Loren Crossing pays homage to these days, pedaling amongst the laurels, crisscrossing the valley north to south and east to west.
Handpicked grapes picked from Napa Valley, with a large portion grown in Rutherford. Destemmed and crushed for native yeast primary fermentation in closed-top vats on the skins for 28 days. The wine was then gently pressed and racked to 30% new French oak barrels from Seguin Moreau, Boutes, Taransaud, and Nadalie for complete malolactic conversion, followed by 18 months of aging.
