Heinz Eifel is a family-owned German wine producer established in 1979 by Heinz Eifel in the Mosel Valley. The estate is centered at the Römerhof (Roman Yard) winery in the village of Trittenheim, where the family oversees the entire process from vineyard to bottle.
The winery is currently managed by the fourth generation of the family, with Heinz’s daughter, Anne Eifel-Spohr, serving as the primary winemaker since 2000. Their philosophy combines traditional German winemaking heritage with modern techniques, utilizing stainless steel fermentation at cool temperatures to preserve the fresh, fruity aromas of the grapes.
