Domaine des Coltabards is a family-owned wine estate in Ménétréol-sous-Sancerre within the Loire Valley of France. Led by winemaker Frédéric Jacquet, the 7-hectare property produces crisp, mineral-driven Sancerre white wines made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc
The grapes are grown soils are Kimmeridgian and silex. After the grapes have been crushed a cold static settling takes place while the fermentation starts at low temperatures in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
